Whether you are a Texas surfer, beach lover, stand up paddler, sea food lover, or just want to help make a positive difference on the Texas coast, this Sunday you will have an opportunity to help protect the resource that so many of us enjoy as Texans during this marina cleanup paddle.
If you are in the Port Aransas (Port A) or Corpus Christi area (or nearby) this weekend, we highly encourage you to attend the Port A Marina clean up paddle this Sunday, January 29th, at the marina in Port Aransas, TX. Port A H20 will be providing FREE stand up paddle boards to anyone interested in going for a paddle and helping clean up the marina at the same time. For those that don’t wish to venture out on the water on a SUP, people participating in the cleanup will also be walking the jetty collecting trash.
If you have never paddled on a SUP board, Port A H20 will be offering instruction to help get you out on the water as you join others in protecting the coast during this cleanup. Stand Up Paddle Boards will be available from 12 noon until sunset, and this is a great opportunity for those who enjoy the Texas coast to give back by helping to clean up the beaches and marina. Not only will you help keep Port A beautiful, but you are also preventing harm to fish and wildlife in the area. For more information you can visit Port A H20′s Facebook Page, or check out Port A H20′s website, where you can find SUP Rentals, kiteboarding Lessons, and surfing lessons in the Port A and Corpus Christi area on their site.
